Bringing Real Futsal to North Alabama

North Alabama FUTSAL rents basketball courts, volleyball courts, roller hockey rinks, and more to provide futsal games in North Alabama. There is no dedicated indoor futsal facility. Tell your family, your coach, your team manager, your club president, your city councilman, your mayor that you want a permanent facility to play futsal. The following venues have been and/or will be used for games:

Former Johnson High School’s “New Gym” 6201 Pueblo Drive, Huntsville, AL 35810

Best to enter from Winchester Road. Take Cecil Fain Drive north onto campus and into the west parking lot. The red bricked “New Gym” is in the rear of campus and labeled “Gymnasium”. Park in the parking lot in front of the gym.

House Rules

In addition to the facility use rules of the City of Huntsville, North Alabama FUTSAL facility use rules are:

1. All players shall enjoy themselves and respect the property of the City of Huntsville.

2. Any player who misuses, abuses, damages or removes city equipment will be banned from participation for a minimum of the remainder of the season.

Oakwood University, Ashby Auditorium 7000 Adventist Blvd, Huntsville, AL 35896

Ashby Auditorium and gymnasium is on the north side of the campus of Oakwood University. From the main entrance to the campus, drive north to Oakwood Road and then west to the gym. Park in front or on the east side of the building. Enter the gym from the front of the building.

House Rules

Oakwood University rules are:

1. No use of tobacco products on campus

2. No alcoholic beverages allowed on campus

4. Any player who misuses, abuses, damages or removes university equipment will be banned from participation for a minimum of the remainder of the season.

Academy for Academics and Arts (AAA) 4800 Sparkman Drive, Huntsville, AL 35810

North Alabama FUTSAL is using their basketball gymnasium for youth games only. Park on the west side of the school and take the sidewalk north to the gymnasium entrance, which is on the east side of the building. The gym is a separate building from the rest of the school.

North Alabama FUTSAL gym use rules are:

1. All players shall enjoy themselves and respect the property of the school.

2. Any player who misuses, abuses, damages or removes school equipment will be banned from participation for a minimum of the remainder of the season.

James Clemens High School (JCHS) 11306 County Line Road, Madison, AL 35756

James Clemens High School is on the west side of County Line Road a little north of Mill Road. North Alabama FUTSAL is using their auxiliary gymnasium for both youth and adult games. To get to the auxiliary gym, park on the northwest side of the school and enter the building labeled Gymnasium. The auxiliary gym is to the left of the main gym.

Dr. Richard Showers, Sr. Recreation Center is located on the east side of Blue Spring Road in Huntsville. This center is the only city recreation center with futsal equipment for hosting futsal games. Futsal games are played in their basketball gymnasium, both youth and adult games. It’s nice to enter a gym to play futsal and find the goals are already in place!

Providence Elementary School (PES, originally a middle school) 10 Chalkstone Street, Huntsville, AL 35806

Providence Elementary School is just off of Old Monrovia Road. North Alabama FUTSAL is using their basketball gymnasium for youth and adult games. The gym is located on the west side of the school and has it’s own parking lot. Follow signs for student drop off.
