* Youth 4 to 8 years old were be introduced to soccer and futsal in the gym at the Optimist Recreation Center on Thursdays in July from 1:00 to 3:00 PM. FREE! Contact the Optimist Recreation Center to register. View flyer. * Youth 9 to 14 years old were coached in futsal and allowed to play many games of futsal at Goldsmith Schiffman Gym on Tuesdays in June and early July from 5:00 to 6:30 PM. FREE! Contact Goldsmith Schiffman Gym or view information on top half of the Player Camp Registration Details page. * Adults played competitive games of futsal in the gym at Oakwood University on Wednesdays and Mondays, twice, in June and July from 6:30 to 9:00 PM. Registration and payment were accepted from whole teams and from individuals to play on a single “house” team. Division winner was determined and Golden Boot and Golden Glove awards were given to deserving individuals. * Adult pick-up futsal games on Monday evenings in the gym at Oakwood University in June and July from 7:00 to 9:00 PM. $5.00/player per evening. Players who are not registered with the league will pay $15.00 for their first evening and then $5.00 each evening afterwards. The higher initial fee provides insurance – no signing waivers and putting yourself at risk. Must be at least 19 or turn 19 years old by the end of 2018 to play in an adult division.

Why play futsal? Great soccer superstars such as Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi grew up playing futsal and credit futsal with developing their acquired skills. See their credited benefits to futsal. If you want to be a very talented soccer player then you should play futsal too. |
